Bloody Roar:
Primal Fury
Yet another good series goes down the tube
the only fighting game ever to let you turn into an animal in mid-battle has gone from a name youd hear geeks talking about at game stores to a shallow button masher that takes approximately one day to beat completely.
I like to start with the good, so here goes the game has nice graphics and uses an idea that was innovative four years ago, but now just sucks. Wait, thats only one good thing! If you saying this, youve never played the game yes, it is that pathetic.
The biggest shame a fighting game can ever have is if you can beat half of it button mashing. With this game, you can beat the whole thing button mashing. Besides, if you actually know what your doing, the control scheme is so busted you could hardly ever pull off anything but kicks and punches anyway, and the animal-switching which is the whole selling point of the game is part of what ruins it. A total n00b could start kicking a veterans @$$ just by transforming! No need to say, this is incredibly cheap.
And, like I said before, the game ends almost as soon as it starts. You can unlock everything in the game in about two or three hours not that there really worth unlocking anyway, since it doesnt keep the game from sucking. Screw this game, go get Soul-Caliber 2!

Story 6/10
Gameplay 3/10
Graphics 9/10
Sound 6/10
Replay 1/10
Overall 3/10 (NOT AN AVERAGE!)
