| Todd Allen Hawks, Artistic Director Todd is currently earning his Bachelor's of Music in Education at Butler University in Indianapolis where he studies voice with tenor, Steven Stolen and Jazz piano with Gary Walters. At Butler he is a member of the University Chorale and Jordan Jazz Ensembles (The latter of which will conduct a workshoip with the Manhattan Transfer this fall). He teaches voice and piano at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center where he coaches and instructs many young performers aspiring to be involved int he world of musical theatre. His directing credits include How to Eat Like a Child at Footlite Musicals, Once on This Island, Jr. at Dance Magic PAC, and No Day But Today: a celebration of life, a musical revue of his styling. He has been seen onstage in Indianapolis at Clowes Memorial Hall, Footlite Musicals, the Scottish Rite Cathedral, and Indianapolis Civic Theatre in shows such as Bye, Bye Birdie, The Secret Garden, The Wiz, Big River, Pippin, 42nd Street, and Broadway: Now and Then. He spends much of his time freelancing as a pianist in the Indianapolis area for local performers and theatres as well as arranging music. |
