All are/or were in the National Honor Society, all play sports and all work with me at my  CVS store. All three are planning a career in pharmacy or pharmacology. Did I mention they are great kids :-)  Nita stayed at home to raise our children and has done a fantastic job. She recently started to work a couple days at our local hospital.   I have been with Arbor/CVS for 24 years. When we moved back to Michigan, Nita and I started a drug abuse prevention program for children and a prescription drug information program for senior citizens. For the children we had puppet shows, family lessons and breakfast presentations on how to "Say No To Drugs", parenting classes for the adults and classes on how to resist "Peer Pressure". We helped over 3,000 children resist the temptation to use drugs. During that time I have received the "Father of the Year" award from our local Knights of Columbus Council (Nita also was awarded the "Mother of the Year" award from  Knights of Columbus), the "U.S. Pharmacist Service to the Community National Award", the CreightonUniversity School of Pharmacy "National Alumni Award", the CVS "Presidents Paragon Award" presented by Tom Ryan, and the  "International Knights of Columbus Award for Community Service". I am also a " Fellow of the Michigan Pharmacists Association", and  appeared in several Arbor/CVS television commercials for pharmacists who excel in customer service, and in my spare time I train new pharmacists in my district. I also started and organize the annual "CVS Apothecary Open Charity Golf Tournament" here in Michigan. I was also my boys Cub Scout Leader when they were younger.   When we have some free time Nita and I play golf or travel. We are both excited and looking forward to seeing everyone again on this reunion cruise. You all touched our hearts in a very special way. Thank you for all the great memories.
