WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU SINCE GRADUATION?
I worked for K-Mart and Walgreens after graduation. Both of these were in
Omaha. I met my husband in church (mass) in July 1984. He sat behind me
for 6 weeks before he talked to me. At that time he was in the Air Force
stationed at OFFUTT AFB. We were married on February 16th,1985. Our son,
Andy, was born March 28,1988. December 1988 found us moving to Lompoc,
California. It is about 1 hour north of Santa Barbara. Rod was stationed at
Vandenberg, AFB. We also lived in Santa Maria, California. We hoped to come
back to the Midwest and September, 1991 we returned to Omaha. My husband
retired from the Air Force in November, 1995 and worked for First Data for 5
years. He now is a civil servant at OFFUTT AFB. I worked at Heartland
Pharmac from February 1993 to June 1994, then I started at Central Park #5
in June 1997 through January 2001. Our store closed, but I am currently
working at Central Park #8 part-time. I enjoy working for an independent; the
familiarity you get with the patients and the closeness of the employees is very
rewarding.
