My Comments on the List
Voted Off the Island
1. #95 Fugazi! Who the hell is this band?! They sounded horrible on TV. 2. #68 Husker Du or should it be "Husker Who?" 3. #96 Meat Loaf. Not hard rock enough. Definitely Pop music. 4. #84 UFO 5. #38 MC5 6. #28 Rush Geddy Lee can't sing!
Top 7 Most Overrated
1. #5Metallica. Do they really deserve to be in the top 5? 2. #10 KISS. Sure they were huge, but have you actually listened to them? 3. #17 The Ramones. They were good, but not that good. Should be around #30. 4. #39 Neil Young. He may be able to write a song, but he can't sing for shit. 5. #73 Twisted Sister. I do like some of their music, but two hits soes not justify being here. 6. #23 Judas Priest. Just not good enough. Their songs were cheesy 7. #33 Rage. Too political. I don't want to have to think when I listen to the music.
Top 5 Most Underrated
1. Ozzy Osbourne. Come on. He hit the height of his popularity, and creativitey, after Sabbath. But there would be no Ozzy without Sabbath, so Sabbath should still be higher. Ozzy should be at around #7. 2. #15 Pink Floyd. Two awesome albums. Should be in the top 10! 3. #32 The Doors. Below Def Leppard?! I demand a recount! 4. #76 Bon Jovi. I'm not really a big fan, but they are better than #76. 5. #57 Heart. Should be in the top 30.
