I have to do Gods work, he smirked at her.
She placed her hands on her hips, telling him, Where were you when the tavern was being attacked? Looks like this werewolf was the one doing His work.
He stepped forward, yelling , Silence! How dare you speak such th-
The she-wolf grabbed him by his collar, lifting him off the ground by one hand and disarmed him.
People like you were the ones who nearly destroyed our kind. Stupidity like yours is what nearly doomed your village tonight. Luckily, he was here as was I.
She tossed him unceremoniously to the ground.
Get out of here, she told him through clenched teeth.
                         Ill kill you! he roared.
After he had climbed painfully to his feet, he unsheathed a sword.
She did the same, watching him intently as he brandished it at her. She did not flinch. Then in a move of blinding speed, she hooked his sword with her own, taking the weapon out of his hands to land on the ground near her and out of his reach. She then pointed the tip of her blade at his larynx.
The only blood spilt tonight will be yours if you persist in this, she told him venomously. Realizing he was up against a wall of resistance, Myerlin reluctantly turned to the group of men with him. Come, lets go home, he announced. They turned, heading slowly back down the street. The she-wolf slid her sword into its scabbard then joined the group on the taverns steps.
