| WWE Heat report for 09/07/03 Match 1: Val Venis def. Slater Vain Highlights: Not a bad match, Slater Vain has some talent in the ring, and I think he's got potential to be a big name if given the proper chance. Slater Vain has Val Venis nearly beaten on many occasions, and works on Venis' back during the match. Val tried for a Fisherman suplex, but his back gave out thanks to the beating Vain gave it. Val finally gets momentum and hits a nice spinebuster. Val to the top rope and he hits the Money Shot for the win. A good match for HeAT! Match Rating: 4 out of 10 Backstage we see La Resistance talking about how they're not in the newest WWE Magazine, but the Dudley Boyz are. Rob Conway enters the room and wonders why he's not on the cover of the magazine, then they leave and Coach says Conway is up next for a match. - COMMERCIAL - After the break, we immediately go to a replay of Coach vs. King on RAW, which I thought was a pretty entertaining segment of the show. Al Snow, as we know from last week, turned heel and attacked King for Coach to pick up the win. Hype for Coach vs. Jim Ross at Unforgiven is done, and then Spike Dudley makes his way to the ring, I guess he'll be taking on Rob Conway. Match 2: Rob Conway def. Spike Dudley Highlights: Spike greets Conway outside of the ring, then takes to the air as he crashes into Conway on the outside from the top rope, what a great opening to the match! Spike goes for a suplex to the outside, but Conway reverses it into some sort of corkscrew neckbreaker move, which was very nice! Mad props to Conway for that move, that's a first for me, to see that! Spike tries to fight back, but Conway has his advantage over Spike now after that neckbreaker. Conway taunts the crowd before unleashing some punches to Spike's head. Spike gets back in the game, no pun intended, by hitting a head scissors causing Conway to crash head first into the turnbuckle. Spike gets rocked and is set up on the top rope, but Spike bites Conway on the head and shoves him down, and then hits a stomp from the top rope. Not a bad match, I'm really getting into this one! Conway is back in this now after a rope burn to Spike's head, and Conway hits a neckbreaker for the win. Great match. Match Rating: 6 out of 10 Al Snow talks about Rodney Mack & Mark Henry taking on Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak coming up tonight. Then we see a preview to the upcoming replay of Austin warning Shane on RAW. After that, and before the commercial break, we see the video package about The Rock's movie The Rundown set for a September 26th theatrical release. - COMMERCIAL - We're back from the break, and we are treated to a video package of Kane setting the dumpster on fire a few weeks ago on RAW, then Shane kicking Kane right into it which leads us the replay of everybody telling Shane McMahon to leave RAW last week. Then we see the replay of Kane making his return and electricuting Shane McMahon's balls. That's right folks, for the first time in wrestling, somebody electricuted another man's balls with a car battery! Gee, no match after this, it's another commercial. - COMMERCIAL - Back from the break, and I'm glad to say we got a match now! Match 3: Tommy Dreamer def. Jimmy Yang Highlights: Dreamer is beating the hell out of Yang at the beginning of this match, he just hit a huge fallaway slam on the man from Japan. Yang now with the momentum, and he's working on Dreamer on the mat with kicks. Yang gets some type of choke hold with his legs, while hanging on the outside with the ropes, I can't describe it but it looked excellent. Yang breaks the kendo stick in half over the ringpost, but then Dreamer gets pissed and puts a whooping on Yang with a neckbreaker followed by a hard spinebuster into a sitdown powerbomb. Dreamer has Yang up for the DVD, but Yang reverses it and goes to the top rope and attempts a moonsault, but Dreamer moves and hits the DDT for the win! Not bad, not bad. Match Rating: 4 out of 10 After the match, Dreamer hits Yang in the ass with a kendo stick. Pretty funny, Snow kept talking about not touching Dreamer's stick if you're a smart man, and Coash saying Dreamer's stick is always near the ass area when he hit Yang. We go to another break. - COMMERCIAL - We're back now, and a video package displaying a replay of SummerSlam's Elimination Chamber match is shown. Now we are shown a replay of the main event from last week's RAW, the big 6 man tag team match. I must say, I'm really getting into Goldberg, for the first time since his arrival in pro wrestling. I love the buildup for Goldberg vs. Triple H at Unforgiven, and I think Goldberg would make for a great World Champion! We now see hype for their match, then for the Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton match at Unforgiven. Up next is our HeAT main event with Rodney Mack & Mark Henry taking on Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak. - COMMERCIAL - OK, we're back now for the last part of the show, the main event which is an actual match and not a replay! Match 4: Rodney Mack & Mark Henry def. Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak Highlights: Cade & Mack start off, and Cade quickly takes the momentum in the match and tags in Jindrak, and the two take care of Mack. Nice dropkick by Jindrak, and Coach says it was the best in the business, but I disagree. I agree with Snow, he said Bob Holly has the best one, that is true. Jindrak rushes to Mack for a crossbody, but Mack turns it into a powerslam. Mack is beating the hell out of Jindrak on the mat with a headlock and punches. Nice springboard clothesline off the ropes by Jindrak on to Mack! Cade is tagged in, and he's cleaning house with Mack. This team of Cade & Jindrak is pretty impressive, but they need gimmicks ASAP! Mack takes Cade out with a shot to the head, and tags in Mark Henry. Henry hits a splash in the corner, and takes out both Cade & Jindrak in the ring. Henry takes Cade down with a huge slam, and he picks up the win, not a bad match. Mark Henry has improved big time in his skills, I can't wait to see him more often in the ring!
