| DAVID STALLER STARRING IN THE 1990 TV MUSICAL THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA PHILM PHACTS USA 1990 Directed by: Darwin Knight Cast: David Staller: The Phantom Elizabeth Walsh: Christine Daae Christopher Rath: Raoul De Changy Also Starring: Darin De Paul and Beth McVey Hirschfeld Theater/Films Color Summary: This musical dose not follow the original novels plot line, even though most of the scene are pretty similar. Stallers phantom is very different from other phantom actors, but is also very interesting. REVIEWS: JOANNA PHANTOMS REVIEW 5 STARS Davids interpretation is very different than other Phantoms, but is very convincing. The make-up is excellent and story is somewhat promising with a twisted ending that leave the viewer asking what in the heck? ICEHEARTS REVIEW 4 STARS Staller portrays the Phantom with a unique sense of raw passion that is incredible. Elizabeth Walshs Christine combines the perfect blend of strength and sympathy. The supporting cast is very humorous and the music is pretty good. The only problem I think this film has is that the entire plot seems to be squeezed with in the entire time frame of a day, and things seemed a little rushed.
