OK, the first one was a classic scarefest but this first sequel in the trilogy is just an OK direct to video flick loaded with gore and nudity. While it does some things a little different as the original, it doesn't even come close to surpassing it. To start off, the original's opening credit sequence set the mood for the movie so you knew that this movie would be a creepy fun flick. This one just has your typical boring old opening credit sequence. The movie is set at a co-ed private school which is run by the easy going Father Bob and the strict bitch Sister Gloria. The doomed kids are all despisable and include: Bibi (the nice girl) , Shirley(the freaky bimbo played by the delicious Zoe Trilling), Terri(the sexy snob), Johnny and Rick(the 2 horny guys), and the only likeable character is the shy and picked on Mouse who is also the demon Angela's little sister. After joking around and getting a little too close with some of the boys, the kids are not allowed to go to the Halloween dance. So of course, the freaky Shirley decides to throw her own Halloween party at the infamous Hull House. The teens and a few of Shirley's wierd friends go to the house but start to notice wierd things happening like walls bleeding, decapitated heads in the toilet. So they decide to go back to the school but of course one of them steals a tube of lipstick from the house posessing her. As soon as they get back all hell breaks loose as Angela runs amok turning the school kids into bloodthirsty demons and it is up to Sister Gloria (with her deadly ruler) and the rest of the kids to stop the demons and send them back to hell. All the gore fx is excellent and the film provides us with many humorous moments such as when one demon plays basketball with his decapitated head. All in all it is just an OK flick that is overshadowed by it's classic predecessor. |
