Chapter 5 Walkthrough

Curtis' Apartment: Living Room

Click on the detective once to talk to her. 
Look at Blob's cage to discover she's missing! 
Talk to the detective until she leaves. 
Click on the mirror, then return to the Living Room. 
Click on Blob's cage twice to make sure she's all right. 
Go to the Bedroom 



Curtis' Apartment: Bedroom

Look in the mirror twice to see scary visions. 
Take Curtis' wallet out of the nightstand drawer. 
Go to the front door to get the mail, discover that there is none. 
Try again. 



Curtis' Apartment: Living Room

Use Dr. Harburg's card on the phone to call her. 



Dr. Harburg's Office

Click on the phone that's hanging from the desk. 
Click the down arrow behind the desk to find out what happened to the doctor. Yuck! 
When the security guard isn't looking, run out the door by placing the cursor at the top of the door frame. Be quick! 
Go to WynTech. 



WynTech: Curtis' Cubicle

Click on the computer twice. 
Go to Bob's Cubicle. 



WynTech: Bob's Cubicle

Click on Bob's keyboard for another hallucination. 
Go to Tom's Cubicle. 



WynTech: Tom's Cubicle

Click on Tom's computer. 
Go to Warner's Office. 



WynTech: Warner's Office

Go to the computer. 
Log in as Curtis and read all new emails, then log out. 
Log in as Warner (password: CARPE DIEM) and read the GOLDMINE.DOC in the PaulW folder. 
Click on the GRAPHIC button, memorize the logo and PRINT it. 
Go back and read BDADRESS.DOC. 
Exit Warner's Office and go to the Network Room. 



WynTech: Network Room

After Trevor's untimely demise, click on him and get harrassed by the hecatomb again. 
Click on him again, to take his card key. 
Exit the Network Room and go to the Threshold Computer Room downstairs. 



WynTech: Threshold Computer Room

Use the password ROSETTA to access the computer. 
Talk to the aliens until they open the Threshold door. 
Use Trevor's key card on the card reader. 
Push the second button from the left, the one that appeared on the letter head you printed in PA Warner's office. 
Enter the Threshold Room. 



WynTech: Threshold Room 
Click on the Threshold computer. 
When Paul arrives, talk to him until the Hecatomb appears and decks him. 
Talk to the Hecatomb until he tries to electrocute Curtis. 
Click on the computer console very quickly to escape through the Threshold to the Alien World. 



Alien World: Upper Level - 

In the middle of the screen, there is a verticle pipe with brown slime on it. Click it to get a close up and take some of the "Alien Slime" from it. 
Go to down the "staircase" (the large blue & green vine-looking thing) to the Lower Room. 



Alien World: Lower Level - 

There is a Horseshoe shaped alien to your left. Take it and then turn to your left. 
Now there should be a star shaped alien on your right and some spined fungus on your left with aliens eating it ("Electric Aliens") Get the star shaped alien. 
Click the fungus on the left and scare away the "Electric Aliens" into the "Electricity Room". Take some of the fungus the aliens were eating. 
Turn left. 
Behind Curtis' back now (on the right side of the screen) is the tailed alien. Click it for a close-up and take it. 
In inventory, combine the horseshoe and the starfish aliens to make a new, hybrid creature called "Combined Alien Creatures". 
Turn left and face the Threshold Ring (up and to your left). 
Turn left again and enter the tunnel to go to the Electricity Room. 
Alien World: Electricity Room

After the movie, turn left to see 2 "Electric Aliens" that are behind your back. 
Feed them the "Alien Fungus" from inventory. 
Capture one while it's eating. 
Turn left. 
Right click the hybrid spiked alien that you combined, "Combined Alien Creature" in inventory, on the field of white electricity to create a hole. (Don't know if this is a flaw or just to frustrate people!) 
Touch the more powerful, green electrical field and be transported up and through the tunnel to Curtis' Room. 



Alien World: Curtis' Room

Talk to the deformed Curtis until you end up in the Mental Hospital. 



Mental Hospital

Click on the surgical tray to get a closeup. 
Use the syringe to get away from Marek. 



The Dreaming Tree Restaurant

When it gets up by your chin, click on Jocilyn's gun to take it from her. 



Wyntech: Hallway by the Elevator

Look down to find the card key - take it. 
Run to the card key on the reader by the elevator. 
Use the card key on it 



The Borderline

Click on the handle to Curtis' right (on the wall) to dump Therese. 



Little Curtis' Back Yard

Click on Mom to give her a big hug. 



Alien World: Curtis' Room

Click on deformed Curtis to pull out his life support. 
Take the goo the falls out of his mouth and nose. 
Turn around and go through the new hole in the wall to the Lower Room. 



Alien World: Lower Level

In inventory, combine the goo from Curtis and the "Alien Slime" 
Turn left. 
Use the new "Alien Ooze" on the broken pipe to repair it. 
Walk up the stairs on your left to the Upper Room. 



Alien World: Upper Level

Notice the blank spot on the left of the Threshold ring. 
Use the "Electric Alien" on the blank spot to give the Threshold power. 
Go to the hanging circuit board (to up and to Curtis' right). 
Click on the lighted area for a close up. 



Alien World: Circuit Board

Use the colored keys at the left and bottom of the screen as a guide to attaching the colored wires. 
The group of  3 wires uses the key at the bottom of the board, the group of 4 uses the one at the left. 
Notice that the sockets attached to the "brain" have two little stems on the key and the circuit board. Be sure they match correctly. 
The power for the board channels in through the top (blue beam)

Click once on the knob with the small red arrow to direct it into the red stem of the brain. 
Click on the round lens with an opening in it twice until the opening is at approximately the 10 o'clock position. 
Click on the red spiked ball above the lens to beam power into the lens which will energize the red circuit on the left and and start the purple ball's deflector wheel spinning (bottom left). 
Click on the round lens until the opening is at approximately the 3 o'clock position. 
Click on the red spiked ball above the lens to beam power into the lens. This time, the big green ball at the top will be charged. 
Click on the knob with the small red arrow again to connect the brain's stem to the big green ball and activate the little blue ball directly below it. 
Click on the triangle twice so the blue dot is in the lower right. 
Click on the little blue ball to send the tri-beam into the blue dot on the triangle, which will deflect to the mirror, then off the purple ball's deflector wheel into the receptor for the smaller green ball at the bottom to charge it. 
You should be hearing a watery gurgling sound now. 
The 3 colored tabs seem to be a combination lock more than anything. 
Click them in this order: 
yellow - blue - red - yellow - blue 
The brain is now charged. All that is left is to power the entire board at once! 
Send power through everything on more time (the small blue ball again). 
Click the blue tab to turn on the Threshold gate and go home! 
 
