I never was a huge fan of Third Day but I heard their worship songs were good, so I got Offerings. It was phenomenal! I never realized how good they actually were! I had heard a few of the songs before, but most of them were new to me. "Saved" was the only song that really baffled me. Why it was on the album, I'm not sure. It wasn't much of a worship song, was completely unlike all their other songs (heh, it was slightly annoying when I was all relaxed just after "Agnus Dei" and all of a sudden I am jolted out of my reverie by the loudness and boisterousness of this song) . . . which I don't mind, but it really stuck out on this album. And that would be sticking out like a sore thumb, not like anything good which sticks out. "Thief" and "Love Song" make me cry. "All the Heavens" is so relaxing I fall asleep. "My Hope Is You" is a reminder to put my trust in God. Despite the one odd-song-out, this album is a must-have!
9 out of 10.
