"In-your-face" sweet movies aggravate me, and this is certainly one of them. Although better done than some others I've seen, it still manages to bash you over the head with sentiment and telling me how I should feel instead of letting me feel it for myself. In addition to that, it played out sort of like my novel, in that every thought leads coherently to the next, but looking at the beginning and then looking at the end, the two are only vaguely connected. This movie could have been fantabulous, instead it was only mediocre. Too bad.
