This album is . . . fine, but not me. I'm not as into Point of Grace as I used to be, but, prejudices aside, it's a good album. The lyrics are thought-provoking, especially "God Forbid," a song that even my parents think is incredible. The girls all have nice voices, and . . . well, their harmonies are as Point of Graceish as they always were. I don't like this album a lot myself, but I would have to say it's pretty decent.

Steady On
Again, I'm not a huge fan of Point of Grace, but this album was good. "Who Am I?" especially is a great song. The lyrics are better than on Life, Love, and Other Mysteries and the music slightly more upeat. My main problem with the album is "Drawing Me Closer," which seems to go on for hours. Other than that, this is a good album if you like their style.

A Christmas Story
I was really impressed with this album. I usually don't like Point of Grace or their style, but they make a mean Christmas album. It has just the right mix of original Christmas songs and traditional carols, and the girls' voices blend beautifully. Michael Tait joins them on "Light of the World," a really fun original song. This album includes my favorite lesser-known Christmas song, "Carol of the Bells" as well as better known songs like "O Holy Night." It also has a really Christmasy mix of "Let It Snow / Sleigh Ride." This is a great CD -- especially great if you love Point of Grace already!
