Wow. That's really all I can say. Wow. Who'd'athunk a movie about pirates would be this awesome? Johnny Depp totally makes the movie. He's just absolutely hysterical in this role. Asides from his amazing performance, the other two really high points of the movie were: 1) Recognizing the "luring the dog" bit from the Disneyland ride, and 2) Seeing theater performer Jonathan Pryce as Elizabeth's father. And no, I didn't see anything spectacular about Orlando Bloom in this role either. Sorry, my Orlando-obsessed friends.
