This is one of the more enjoyable Disney movies. Doesn't measure up to the standards of Beauty and the Beast or The Emperor's New Groove, but it definitely isn't among the drudgeries of Disneydom (i.e. Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone... all those movies we wished would just disappear). Captain Hook is one of the coolest Disney villains of all time, just behind Gaston and Kronk. Don't think I'd own this movie, but it's fun to rent from time to time. (Plus it's fun to watch backwards. Teehee.)
