A friend of mine owns this album. I borrowed it, listened to it, and then ordered it for myself. This album is by far my favorite of the Out of Eden albums. Its melodies are catchy and fun to dance to (a must for my album collection), and the words, while not as interesting as on their third album No Turning Back, are typically interesting songs about God's love and our giving all for God. "Greater Love" is one of those songs that is so fun for me that it sends prickles up my spine. (Did that make any sense?) My favorite songs on the album are "Confused," a heart-rending expression of loneliness and chaos without God, and "Then and Only Then," focusing on how heaven is the only time we're going to have peace. Ooh, I love this album!

No Turning Back
This is a good CD, but not one of my favorites. They've toned down their sound a little more since More Than You Know, and have a larger number of slow songs than on their first two CDs. On the plus side, though, they have better lyrics. "Here's My Heart," a duet sung with . . . some guy, I'm not sure who, but I liked him . . . is a beautiful love song between a girl and God. The girl tells God that she's all broken up inside and she has no idea why he would want her, but if he really wants her heart, He can have it. The response reminds her just how precious she is to the Lord. "River," my personal favorite on the album with a great beat to go with it, talks about God's consistency, how He'll always be there for us. I didn't care for the songs "Draw You Near" or "Open Up Your Heart" because they seemed to go on for hours. The song "Sarah Jane" really gripped me, as a heartbreaking example of the need for outreach into the community. The girls' voices have matured a good amount. Not a bad CD if lyrics is what you look for. If you're wanting a hip-hoppin' bounce-in-your-chair CD . . . well, this ain't it.
