The first Omega Code had a clear line drawn between good and evil, God and the believers on one side and Satan and the antichrist on the other. In this second one, the line is blurred. Our hero no longer has Christian beliefs, or any kind of religious beliefs at all, unless you consider his one-line prayer to indicate something like that - I perceived it as a typical man crying out to whatever deity he hopes is listening, as anyone would. "Thrill factor" license is also taken. Our hero from the first movie has completely disappeared, and most of the movie is focused, not on the side of good, but on the side of evil. Too many elements of priests dressed in black robes, poltergeistic mischief, and mysterious supernatural deaths for my taste. They've taken the elements of a spiritual battle and secularized it down to a Stephen King novel plot, not to mention the incredibly ridiculous purple dragon creature that is supposed to be Satan at the end. It doesn't even look real. Don't waste your money on this one.
