Oh, goodness. That's just what I wanted to watch, a child-with-a-Southern-accent-bonds-with-animal story. Have you noticed that anything "based on a true story" is either set in New England or the South? Odd, innit? Anyways. This movie made me think, "Uhh... and I spent two hours watching THIS?!" Maybe for dog fanatics. Or people who like Southern accents. But not for me.
