Man, I can't believe I don't have this on my site already! The first time I saw this movie, I didn't quite get it. The second time, I thought it was pretty good. This third time I thought it was HILARIOUS! So this is one of those movies that, for me, took viewing a few times. The language is really harsh but thanks to the magic of TV Guardian we're able to enjoy this one without the F-word every few minutes. There's just so much in this movie to like! Lots of little things, like the fact that they're never able to sleep because of trains and factory whistles and screech owls... the scene where she's upset with him because he's going deer hunting... the public defense attorney who turns out to be less than stellar... Man. Watch this movie. It's awesome. Favorite quote: "I don't know. I don't want to upset my mom by firing him. We're family, you know?" "Yes, I understand, but are you willing to die for that? Wouldn't you be rather more upset if you died?"
