This was an odd movie. It was very enjoyable bit by bit but, as a whole, fell very flat. I'm not sure quite what was missing. The characters were well-defined and the dialogue was well-written and the plot was interesting. So what didn't work? I'm going to have to take a little more time to figure that out.
