Mom really likes this movie, but I can't see what's so special about it. The plot hangs together in a way that really doesn't work out. The subplot suddenly becomes the main plot at the very end. The characters are wooden and uninteresting... the acting simply normal. Like most Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, it's a fine TV movie, but nothing I would pay money to see.
Musical Theater Person Sighting: That's George Hearn (who I got to see in Wicked) as the motorcycle-riding priest/rector/whatever he was. I forget.
