Perfect Stranger
(published 1981)
Somebody recommended Danielle Steel to me, even though I dislike non-Christian romances, so I picked this up at the library. I despised it. This would be so easy to mock it's not even funny. The characters were too melodramatic to be real, the stupid heroine couldn't even make up her mind whether or not to end up with the hero (it was soo annoying: "Oh, I can't love you, Alex! Never mind! Oh, wait, I forgot, I can't love you! Oh, never mind, I love you anyway! I love you! I can't! I love you! I can't! No!"). Not to mention I don't like books where the hero and heroine have sex before their marriage. It just so totally spoils the ending.
Oi. If her books are all as inane as this one... not to mention totally typical... forget it!
