I had read the book of this and found it absolutely hilarious, so when the movie finally got out on DVD I decided I should see it. What I saw almost lived up to my expectations! It nearly kept the spirit of the book and, aside from gratuitous Lindsay Lohan singing sequences, 'twasn't bad as a solo movie either.
