Century 4 Quatrain 67
L'an que Saturne & Mars esgaulx combust,
L'air fort seiche, longue trajection:
Par feux secretz, d'ardeur grand lieu adust,
Peu pluie, vent, chault, guerres, incursions.
The year that Saturn and Mars are equal fiery,
The air very dry parched long meteor:
Through secret fires a great place blazing from burning heat,
Little rain, warm wind, wars, incursions.
When Saturn and Mars are equally fiery they are conjoined in a fire sign (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius). A fire sign occured in October of 1997 when Mars was in Sagittarius and Saturn was in Aries. Saturn and Mars frequently transit the fire signs but this quatrain specifically notes that a comet will appear during this transit.
Comet Hale-Bopp was the most viewed comet in history and although it was first discovered in 1995 by telescope, it did not become a naked eye comet until 1997 and is now called the great comet of 1997.
The year 1997 was also the first year of El Nino and it lasted until 1998, this El Nino drastically altered the weather patterns on Earth causing floods in some places and droughts in others. The year 1998 was also the warmest year on record and the beginning of the first La Nina that lasted until 1999 when it was followed by a second La Nina that we are experiencing today.
Much of the world is in the third year of a devastating drought and for the first time ever, science has admitted that Global Warming is real and accelerating. Some scientist think that the Sun may be the cause while others think People are the blame and still others think we are experiencing several various long term cycles. The real cause may still be a secret but the scorching of the Earth is real.
