Hans Bethe, the celebrated Physicist and Nobel Laureate, passed away recently. He was 98.
A contemporary of the golden age of Physics in early to mid-twentieth century, Hans Bethe is best known perhaps for his active role in the Manhattan Project. Apart from Physics, he had considerable mastery over mathematics and especially arithmetical techniques.
