What is the Cheaha-Coosa Valley Community Planning Group?

The Cheaha Coosa Valley Community Planning Group (CPG) was organized in 1993 to provide education on HIV and prevention of HIV. The CPG is composed of both paid staff and volunteers who meet monthly to discuss where prevention efforts are needed most in our community. The CPG participates in such activities as conducting needs assessments, locating available resources, providing public speakers and focus groups. Our main goal is to save lives by providing education and prevention.
