Our mission as a Community Planning Group is to promote and publicize HIV Prevention Community Planning opportunities and to recruit from all segments of the local communities for statewide input. As a Community Planning Group our ideas are used to develop education and prevention campaigns for your communities. We welcome you to become a part of our group and contribute your thoughts and ideas.
The Facts Of Life
Fact: Everyone must understand that AIDS knows no boundaries. AIDS can be prevented only by eliminating risky behavior.
Fact: AIDS is the leading cause of death among men aged 25 to 44.
Fact: AIDS is the 3rd leading cause of death among women aged 25 to 44.
Fact: AIDS is still the 6th leading cause of death among people aged 15 to 24.
Fact: There is hope for eliminating HIV/AIDS if we educate our families and community workers about HIV/AIDS prevention.
Fact: You can make a difference.
