::. To Turkish Princess. And all of the other extreme left-wingers.

This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a nice job; didn't he? read on please...

"IMMIGRANTS NOT AMERICANS MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation worrying about if offend some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11th, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the politically correct crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of decedents of immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently have come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak English, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefor, if your wish to become a part of our society learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan... We adopted this motto because of Christian men and women, on Christian principals, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is a part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you cam from. This is our land OUR lifestyle. Our first Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and will allow your every opportunity to do so. But once you are complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE."

Now here is my response to this article sent to me via email.

OK. First off, I disagree with a lot of shit in this article. The whole part about religion is bullshit. Separation of the church and the state was the best idea our founding father's produced. Example: take our current government corruption, now replace that with the Church's corruption, and then add national stress and decisions that need to be made from an arbitrary standpoint, then imagine how "stable" our government would be. I disagree with painting our school walls with "In God We Trust." Public schools should remain diverse, and always keeping religion out. If you want religion in our schools, pay for your kids to go to a private Christian/catholic/jewish/whatever school. However, that was only one point brought up in this article, there are many other good, solid ideas he is trying to stress in this article. Some of these issues I really think Mellisa from drunkenbanana.com should consider. NOTE: I believe in human evolution, not the story of 2 magical people by the names of "Adam and Eve," that were placed here by God. Soooo with that in mind, respect my personal beliefs, and if you don't like my opinion, close this window and get the fuck off my website, I don't need u taking up bandwidth. And if you wanna publicly attack my beliefs over the internet... I'll return fire, and yes, I won't loose.

Turkish Pricess,
When i first started reading your article on DB.com, your opening paragraph really got me, and i was prepared for a good argument. Then about 4 lines after your intro, you strayed off topic and directed your whole argument directly at me. Now if u re-read my article, [which i will be re-posting on my site] you can see that never once do I single a person out. I am very against extreme liberals, such as yourself. The difference between me and you, is that I wouldn't attack your insecure political ideas. I can respect someone's political and/or religious belief. In both, religion and politics, there is no right answer, no one is "more correct" than anyone else, everyone's opinion/belief should be considered equal. Why should it my political view and your political view be considered equally? Because we are both Americans, even tho u sound like a commie in your essay, and we both share the freedom of speech. I'm not going to pick apart your writings making you look ignorant and immature because someone has already done that for me. ;-) I'm just gonna flaunt my psychic skills by making assumptions. NOTE: I HAVE NEVER MET THIS GIRL IN MY LIFE. AND FOR THOSE WHO KNOW MELISSA, LET ME KNOW IF IM ON THE BALL.

+Growing up as a kid you were lower/middle class, probably living in the anaheim/fullerton area.
+You may be white, but from your writing I'm guessing your of the middle eastern decent, or have a boyfriend/relative that is of that decent...why else would you be compassionate for a race that has been tarnished by a handful of extremists?
+I also am making a guess none of your family members have been to war.
+I'm making a guess that you collect food stamps or unemployment checks depending on your age, which i don't know.
+You sound like a giving person, but probably hasn't done more than 100 hours of community service.
-After being put on probation for threatening a police officer and destroying evidence, I was assigned 120 community service hours to be completed in 3 months, in addition to the 25 hours to graduate high school, i reassure you i have done more for the "poor" and "needy" than you'll probably ever experience. It's something about sorting food with crackheads and convicted felons that makes u realize why the majority of the lower/middle class is liberal/democratic.
+Now u made it COMPLETLY obvious of your political standpoint. Liberal as fuck, which is totally cool. However. All u basically did is bitch about or government killing people. When in reality, "your people" being "liberals/anti-war" are all for new forms of government programs to help the poor and needy, but why would u ask for help from such an evil monster that u were talking about called, The US Government?

*Those were all guesses, 60% probably aren't true. but i know that some of my theories carry weight.

Do not test me Melissa, and don't say anything stupid. The internet posting is MY game...don't challenge.

Next essay you write should be more rounded and bias, rather than far-left extremist. You'll find that you'll receive more respect, and will probably be looked at a little better than how u look right now...an ignorant anti-war liberal. Is there anything more annoying? haha...maybe Al Gore... he said "i created the internet." sounds like something Melissa would say... like "While people are getting vanilla lattes, innocent people are being slaughtered." I ask you Turkish Pricess, how many times have u ate psychedelic mushrooms? Heres another good quote from our Liberal Of the Week. "I'll be happy when there is no more innocent killing." Well instead of just saying something like that...Why don't you go ask your friends to stop running shit into trade centers killing 2,819 of your "innocent civilians" of all ethnic backgrounds, no one gender/race was singled out in this attack. However this attack wasn't preformed by our "imperialistic" and terrifying civilian killing government. This attack was preformed by a small group of individuals mad at the USA because of 2 reasons.
-Our position in their 200 year war over the Gaza strip, and who has right to this "holy land."
-Women in the USA have the freedom of speech. If u hate our government so much. go move to your homeland and express yourself through a shall coated in dry snot and your children's blood. A woman as strong minded as you would be shot on the spot in a third world country. But since your so anti-war... why don't u do something instead of sitting at home contradicting yourself over drunkenbanana.com. Instead, why don't u write another one and explain to all of us [who have read your article] what u think the USA should have done after 9/11. Then the population on people visiting DB.com will take a poll to see if you'd be a good leader. Now just to make u feel dumb i'll hit u with some figures. BTW that comment u made about my sources, they were both ranking officer's in the US military. If you doubt their opinion

In conclusion all i have to say is that i think in your argument you forgot to mention a very important issue. And i don't think u brought it up once... WHY WE WENT TO WAR IN THE FIRST PLACE. Now take a hard look at these numbers, memorize them. Based on these numbers alone is enough to gain my support and go into a shitty ass country and help them to try and restore any form of government structure. We are not in Iraq to kill people. We are there to help the innocent people trapped in middle of extreme fundamentalists and us. If innocent people in Iraq must die, then they must die. NOTE* All the innocent people we've killed in the past 3 decades doesn't come anywhere near the numbers they racked up in 20 minutes. Face it, wars will occur, people will die. Do us all a favor and quit while your ahead. World peace will never happen as long as they is socialists like yourself running around hating a government. try something new and embrace the people sacraficing they're lives for you, while u sit at home enjoying your freedom of speech.
