| 2/26/02- "Drowning" was retired today. It was debuted on October 30,2001 and retired February 26,2002. It spent 41 days at #1. Good Job to the boys!!! 2/27/02- Nick Carter is currently in 2nd place in CosmoGirl's SURVIVAL OF THE SEXIEST. The competetion runs until March 31. The winner makes it onto the cover. So cast your vote! 3/3/02- The Boys won the coveted "Golden Hanger" Award given by Joan Rivers and her fashion police panel. Leon Hall voted for the boys in the "Best Dressed Male" category. The boys also got a nod from Melissa "Missy" Elliott. 3/9/02-Access Hollywood reports that Howie and sister, Pollyanna are slated to sing the national anthem for FOX's Celebrity Boxing Special. The show will air on March 13 at 9pm EST and will feature among others, Barry Williams (Greg Brady) vs. Danny Bonaduce (Danny Partridge) and Tonya Harding vs. Paula Jones. We're not sure if the anthem will be included in the broadcast. 3/9/02- This was mentioned in a recent newsletter from Wade Robson: This past week Wade has been running around as usual. Of course the Grammy's were on Wednesday night. Wade attended the awards...he went to all the after parties and had a great time with friends. The next day he was a little tired, but back to work. He met with Backstreet Boy, Howie D on Thursday. They are writing together for Backstreets new album. The songs sound really good. Please note that this doesn't mean that the songs will end up on the new album but they will be considered for it. 3/16/02- AJ told VH-1 recently that he is engaged to Sarah Martin. Even though we all knew he was before the report it is now official that AJ Is engaged congrats AJ and Sarah!!!!! 9/14/02- Nick's new solo album is out October 29....go get it then!!!! Oh and Nick is gonnna be on MTV's Making The Video on September 16 at 5:30 PM ET. |
