The chapel project for the Polangui General Comprehensive High school was an idea of Rachel. With the assistance of several class 77 graduates based in the Philippines, a plan was conceived. Gil, the architect of the group, designed the concept. After several revisions, preliminary drawings were presented and approved. Estimated project cost is 1.2 million pesos. Construction started last September 27, 2002. The basic chapel structure was completed last December 28, 2002 in time for the silver reunion. Full completion is targeted June 30, 2003 for the handover and thanksgiving ceremony.
