I just want you to see the "new" Emily. Most of us have not seen her for 3 decades... The photos shown on this page were taken in our front yard. See that person (red shirt) right side hiding in the shade? It's Jeff. Jeorg was the one doing the "shooting". We had these lovely white daisies in our front yard that bloom on summer. We thought it would be a good background for a summer photo-op. |
| Let me continue my updates on Emily's life... during her college days, she used to work as part-time movie actress for Viva Films. She was also a ramp model. Yes, Emily's exotic look and slender figure made it to RP's movie screen and Manila's modeling scene. The extra income she got from these part time jobs helped her pay tuition fees in college. She also attended Ateneo de Manila's business school in Makati for her MBA. |
| If you have a collection of old Viva movies filmed in the 80's, there's a chance that you will see Emily in various roles. I remember one Viva movie titled "Working Girls" which was partly filmed in a building in Makati. It was directed by Ishmael Bernal and starred Hilda Koronel, Rio Locsin and Carmi Martin. Three of the secretaries in the office where I worked were featured as Hilda's co-passengers in an elevator scene. At that time, the enginnering office I was working was renting 3 floors on the same building. We had fun watching the shooting. Emily informed me that he had a role on that movie. Unfortunately, I did not see or met her at that time she was doing her scenes. Also, I've not seen Bernal's "Working Girls" in the theaters. |
