Then and Now

Then Rani as a young member of a choral group in elementary school. He completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later joined the U.S. Navy He is married to Anne Marie (a younger sister of another class '77 grad, Jessie Salceda). In the mid 90's, Rani and family were assigned in Atsugi, Japan. I was able to see them in Atsugi while visiting my cousin who was also with the US Navy. He and his young family are currently based in San Diego, California.

Family photo for summer 2008: Matt (15), Joey (9), Mike (11), Anne, and Rani. It seems like yesterday when I saw Matt as a toddler and Mike as a baby. That was in the mid 90's when I was working in Yokohama while Rani & Anne were based in Atsugi, Japan.

Picture taken after the Promotion Ceremony at Los Pen Elem School. Mike will be in Middle School (6th Grade) this coming school year (2008). He's one of the smallest in their class, just like Rani when he graduated in elementary.
