This site is wonderful! I still am up against a brick wall in my research. I can't seem to find out the first name of my great-great grandfather Garland (Hugh Beverly Garland's father)that emigrated to the USA during the Great Famine and eventually settle
in KY where Hugh was born during the Civil War. Hugh married Isabel Poole in later years. That's about all I know up to this point. I am hoping that someone somewhere will be able to help. Please keep up the GREAT work.
