During the afternoon, Mark took us fishing for trout in the Upper Kenai. This was a wilderness area where development is not allowed near the river. It was very peaceful in this area with very few people fisihing. We spotted a loon, ducks, and caught many fish. Crystal was the winner catching 13 Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden Char. I think Jennifer may have caught the largest rainbow however. Jennifer claimed that she would not fish each time we went out. I call it beginners luck! Fishing in this area is catch and release for trout and dollies.
Unfortunately, Greg left his fishing license in the RV and could not fish. Mark generously credited my account for this oversight. So, by default, Greg became the camera man and took most of the photos below.

and how about a Dolly Varden?
There were many more, and we didn't even take pictures
of all of them. Even I caught some fish.

Here is a picture of a very old cabin along the river.
I don't think it's for rent.
