Reflective Philosophical Statement on Using Technology in Teaching
and Learning:
In the current day and age using technology
in the classroom is essential. Students need to see and learn how
to use a wide range of technology skills. Not only will this help
increase their learning power, it will also help to prepare them for the
workforce and higher education. Students are now expected to have
a common knowledge of computers for many jobs and for any higher education.
Technology offers many new opportunities for students every day.
As teachers we can help our students expolore these new possiblities and
teach them how to use them. There are now many virtual experiences
that we can offer our students to broden their knowledge of the world around
them. If we dont' take advantage of the new and amazing tools that
are availible in technology we are cheating not only ourselves, but also
our students.
