Center Schedule: (for a classroom with 20 students)

How it works:
Students spend 30 minutes at each center.   They rotate in groups and complete 2 centers a day.
On Fridays there are no centers because of special activities.

Monday:  Group 1- Writing
                Group 2- Reading/ Books on tape
                Group 3- Social Studies
                Group 4- Computers
                Group 5- Science
                Group 6- Art/ Creation Station
                Group 7- Word Study
                Group 8- Math
 

Tuesday-Thursday:  Students rotate to the next center.  For example if they started at Science they will move to Art/ Creation station and continue until they have visited all centers during the week.  There will be activities at each center for the students to complete.
