Quest was my impulse purchase.
He comes to us from Tony Lewis in the Pacific NW. Quest is solid black with a white butterfly on his chest. He is the first *race bred* whippet to be purchased by Pfyre.
It took Quest a while to mature, and a stint back at Camp Lyth to decide that
chasing an artifical lure could be fun, but he finally came around.
Since returning to Ohio at the end of September 2001, he has completed three oval meets and gotten points in all three, for a total of 7.
He has competed in one WRA meet, the 2001 Nat'l, where he started as a FTE and finished 13/122 with 13 race points. I am thrilled with his performance.
He has also gotten a start on his ASFA title, placing 2nd and bringing home 12 points in his first trial.
However, his FIRST love is still chasing live game, and I've promised him
he can go OFC next year.
