Loving relationship torn apart
Of all the people I ever met
Not a single one ever came close to my heart.
Loving woman so good to hold,
Is now cold from a passionless mind.
Never close, always bitter,
Even now thoughts are unkind.
Should I risk exposure of my soul?
Shall I come in from the cold?

Why did I let her slip away?
I resent the black and white of reality.
Love can conquer all, and left me in shades of gray.
Love used all my sanity, or did I give it way?

Keep it hidden now from view.
In kneeling murmurs from the pew.
Love will heal my soul, but when?
Love may never come this way again.

Yesterday I had it all.
Only to hear another's call,
Upswept wings of her love would meet,
Reaching heights, and passions' sweet.

Sweet love now return at last,
Over sorrow of losses past,
Upward spirit now is passive.
Lost was love, and pain was massive.

Ultimate expression.
Remove the veil and passion calls.

Even now, God knows us.

Virtuous and kind love of mine,

Luminous eyes will rush.

Holding you in my mind reveals,
Everything, for passion is real.
