Leading to the End

After becoming someone’s hero

You try to show the way

You try to be a good example

Leading day by day.

Sometime in the future

After being told you’re one,

They’ll fight against you once again

They’ll even try to run.

You lead on anyway,

Defining what is right,

The more you try to show them,

The more they try to fight.

Still you lead and still they fight,

Twenty years go by,

You show them wrong,

You’re on the right.

They believe in Hope and Change,

They believe in fun,

Soon you’ll defend their rights,

from the barrel of your gun.

Four more years pass you by,

It’s TRULY time for change,

You lead on towards the light,

The other sides’ deranged.

You’re still their hero in your mind,

It matters not to them.

What matters most is love and hope,

Light, Life, and Love to the end.

No telling though since they don’t call,

they ignore your pleas,

To get on the side of right is now,

So get upon your knees.

Your time has passed, you’re in the ground.

What difference have you made?

You stayed true this time around,

Perhaps the love was made.
