"The Rebirth of Uncensorship"
by: Evey Insurrection
Some of you may remember the beginning of PFHS's underground anti-censorship website. Most of you may not. Some of you may even remember the controversy last year surrounding this site's article "Flaunting Underage Drinking", and the anonymously submitted, blurred-out pictures.  Most of you probably don't remember. Most of you probably don't care.

The excitement surrounding this website and its willingness to confront the confrontational has died down enormously in the past few months, but - along with the assistance of my co-pilot, Orinorious - I hope to re-ignite it.

My name is Evey. Well, my screen name is Evey, anyway. My real name isn't that important here. Aside from the moderator of this site, I'm "that girl from MySpace" or "that one girl from school". Sometimes I'm even "that girl with the iPod". You may know me in real life, but you may not. I used to be called "Kage Ite" on this cite (yes, I'm the one who wrote the depressingly anti-Valentine's Day article), but I felt a while ago that it's time to move on from that name.

What my real name is isn't important here, though. You're not here to find out who I am when I'm in "Clarck Kent" mode. No, you're hear for what I have to say. You're here to find out my opinions, and hopefully to voice your own. You're here to make a difference, or to at least make a stand. That's what this website's about. That's the reason you're still reading this article.

This site was created to fight censorship, and that's what we're still trying to do. We're protected under the First Amendment and the Right to Free Speech. We'll publish your opinions, whether we agree with them or not, but we won't publish slander or personal attacks. We're here to fight censorship, not each other.

Although I've only got one semester left at PFHS, I look forward to spending it as the moderator of PFU. It looks like it should be a good four months.
