PFN CHAPTER EAST NEPAL, MORANG
It is a great pleasure to inform you that we had newly established PFN Chapter
East Nepal, Morang on 9 September 2002. The main objective of new chapter
is to cover Eastern Regional Jails of Nepal. This is our mission to expand
our coverage area and serve all jails and prisoners of Nepal. Recently, we
have two volunteers, Mr. Kiran Dhimal and Mr. Raj Kumar Rai for the East Nepal
Chapter in coordination with Pastor Anil Subba. They have got orientation
class from the organization at Kathmandu in 29 and 30 September 2002. The
main task of them is to visit two jails i.e. Biratnagar and Jhapa jails and
develop good relationship with the officials, inmates and community. They
also send trainees for vocational training in Model Rehabilitation Center.
Recently, they are doing jail visits and we are planning to launch other programs
as soon as possible according to report and situation of the area.
