PRISONER'S WELFARE PROGRAM

Prisoner's Welfare program covers the activities to support prisoners directly or indirectly. We had provided supplies of relief materials, sport goods, medical supplies, daily necessity goods etc. to prisoners. This year, we had supplied 30 meters PVC carpet for Tanahun Jail. Most of the jails do not have physical facilities. The floor is wet and damp during rainy season. So, these kinds of carpet need to distribute in other jails. This is our beginning. We are providing daily newspaper 'Kantipur' for Syangja, Myagdi, Kaski, Lamjung, Tanahun and Palpa jails. We had provided sport materials in Dhulikhel, Nakhkhu, Female, Syangja, Myagdi, Lamjung and Palpa jails for the prisoners recreating and entertainment. The sport materials include chess, Carom, Volleyball and other sports goods. We had also provided television for Palpa jail.
