This is just a placeholder page until I can get some links, album covers
and snippets of favourite tracks in here. Enjoy what is here, and
come back later to enjoy it more.
My taste is pretty much dead on mainstream rock, with a slightly
harder edge. Here are some bands I like at the moment:
- Australian band Rebecca's Empire rates high on my list
of good bands that have come out in the past couple
of years. If you can get it, give their _Way of all things_
CD a listen.
- Snout, another Aussie band, is also pretty good.
- Like many others, I like the music R.E.M. has been putting
out for the last six or seven years. And at the risk of
being unfashionable, I think their music has been getting
better.
- I've been a Genesis fan for quite some time. I like both the
new and old stuff, and think both Peter Gabriel and
Phil Collins were equally good front men. So there! :)
- Which reminds me, I like Peter Gabriel as well. Get his
Passion CD for some "serious" music; "Steam" it isn't.
I wish he'd release his next CD.
- And many more. Bush, Foo Fighters, Tori Amos and Garbage
get honourable mentions.
