Orson Scott Card

Orson Scott Card is primarily a science fiction and fantasy writer, who periodically delves into other genres. He has a few well-known series as well as more than a few stand-alone novels, and he tends to publish one or two novels a year.

His writing quality varies from book to book, but his hit rate is good enough to keep me reading the next one.
