Ray Alexander - Alexander's lack of production as a quarterback was overshadowed by his play on both sides of the ball. His three touchdowns give him four total for the year. Alexander is certainly is a start on your fantasy team as he is a play-maker on both sides of the ball.
Shawn Vardakas - Vardakas carried the ball 10 times for 60 yards and a fumble returned for a TD on Monday. After an increase in touches from the backfield, he said, "I just wanted to hold onto the football." In addition, Vardakas increased his role on defense, recording four solo tackles. Though he is not a full-time starter his presence on your bench for back-up is a must.
Ben Meyers - Meyers shined as the quarterback on Monday, recording 7 TD passes and scoring one of his own. Meyers also chipped in with an interception on defense. Meyers is starting to separate himself from Alexander, who threw two interceptions, as the elite quarterback in the league.
Jeff Kozak - Even with the change in backfield atmosphere, Kozak did not miss a beat. He provided a power running game in the place of Vardakas's swiftness on downs where the quick-back needed a rest. Kozak also posed a threat coming out of the backfield, but his biggest contribution was on defense, where he recorded 10 solo tackles.
Phil Schilling - Though he struggled on defense, Schilling tied for the team's lead in touchdowns with four. Schilling used his deceptive speed to get by his Asian defender on numerous occasions. Schilling has proved himself in and out each week, and should have by now earned a starting spot on your fantasy roster.
Steve Stargell - Stargell saw a different role thrown at him on Monday. To give him a break, allowing him to rest himself for more important games ahead, Stargell saw very little backfield time. Intead, Stargell scorched the defensive secondary as a wide out. he recorded four touchdowns and also chipped in with tackles on defense. Stargell has been the most consistent player on the team and is a complete fantasy stud.
