arsehole- A term
which readily describes Bernard's personality in the posts he
makes to the board.
alcohol- Seems that there are
a few regulars who don't mind having a drink or two before getting
on the board, or coming home from a big night and getting on the
board, where they display the effects of it with no shame at all..
Well not until the next morning arrives anyway.
awards- Powderfinger have won
many, yet still maintain they are not effected by any of the hype.
Even Bernard, Mr Ego Man himself claims its all very nice but
doesn't really matter all that much.
B)
Beryl- An old
character of pure whit who still occasionally rises up from the
depths of the board to make us all aware that her and her
freaked-out mind are still lurking.
Boff- The resident musician.
Always ready to lend a hand
boof- The name given to
Bernard by Beryl (see above), the idea for the name was captured
by Bern's ever famous hair-style, which now is also referred to as
the 'boof'.
bf- The name which Bernard
posts under. (Won't be seen in orange despite what the web-site
says. He is just being rebellious.. Or he is too stupid to
remember how to do it?)
Blue Heeler & Feeler- A
pair of Siamese twins who used to post on the board before they
decided to separate and change their names. They still post, just
under their new identities.
Burger Queen- The name
suggests she's in the wrong band site, but her funny little posts
reassure that she's a fan.
Bree- Queen of 'shitty polls'
Big Kev-
A regular on the board whenever a tour is mentioned, or someone
gets, 'EXCITED!' We're all BIG KEVING IT UP!

chest hair- One of
JC's fine assets which many regulars find very very attractive
Chicky- aka Tastes Like
Chicken... Resident smartarse and leader of the Cogsy's Army.
Cogs- The name which Jon posts
under (will be in orange)
Computer Geek- Often we are all
accused of being computer geeks by outsiders who feel they know
us, and they know better than us

Dz- The name Darren
posts under (will be in orange)
drama- One of the main
elements on the board. We have it all, romance, jealousy, bitch
fights, heartache and much more. As you can see we are the classic
example of Home and Away put into a real life (via computer
screen) context.
drug addictions- There
are certain members (minus the 's') who have this problem, just
bare with them- as hard as it may be at times.
da- Double Allergic

find most of the regulars are 'econodogs'. If you don't know what
an econodog is- get out from under your rock and visit http://www.econodog.cjb.net/ (RIP)

by board regulars- if you don't like it I suggest not sticking

Eddie Vedder- A man who brings
out the true colors in all the regulars, a classic example is Joel
who was able to face up to the fact that he was bi because of Ed
(with a little help from his great mate Piz)
EMI- The man of non-pf quotes
and poems. Also very good with music trivia.
Ebay- The on-line auction site
which leaves us all broke and/or angry

were all annoyed into contributing to
fights- We see many of these
on the board, there are many people out there with big tough claws
Fingers (the)- Members of the
band

gods- By some of the
comments left on the board it seems some people confuse
Powderfinger from being a band and think they are masters of some
newly formed religion.

homosexuality- Something
which Ian was once accused of practicing with Placebo's Brian
Molko. Of course all has been honestly denied.

highly respected shit-stirrers of the board. Voted by herself as
the oldest regular around
Janet- Another highly
respected shit-stirrer, though she's a little quieter than Jax is
Jess, Jessica, Jesska, Jessika- Who's
who you ask? I don't think they can even work it out, but they're
all there! Jesska (along with Kat set up the fanzine (see 'f')
JLS -
only JC lover. She's wierd.. Not that there's anything WRONG with
that...

Kerry- Perhaps the
most respected of all the regulars. Well she's defiantly the best
looking anyway! She's good at talking herself up too! Well known
for making numerous typos in all her posts, and also for falling
pregnant to unknown fathers.
Kat - Creator (along with

hinted at in some posts.. well there are hardly any guys on the

lie- Something regulars on the

used to describe the hair-style which Darren is currently
supporting... Even though its not this.. SHORT AT THE TOP, LONG AT
THE BACK GUYS!
Mains- A song by Powderfinger
which is often talking about on the board. Found on Living Type

Marky Mark- Some really hot
guy who has all the regulars drooling over him.

Naive Bree- Originally
known as just Bree, this was a character who lived a very
sheltered life. She became Naive Bree when Bree (see 'B') entered
the discussion board and caused some confusion

Five abbreviated
oi- 'Oi'pic, Cap'oi'city,
Thrill'oi'logy...
orange- After a huge surge of
imposters on the guys, the website maintainers decided to make it
that all posts by Powderfinger would appear in orange. Though
Bernard doesn't like to work that way, he's into staying white. By
the way don't try and crack the code of becoming orange by used
#00032 or whatever to make you appear orange, it just DOESN'T
work!

unknown people get on the board for the first and probably last
time to ask a question about the band which are answered by
regulars. After reading the replies left by the regulars they will
often come out of the experience with no more knowledge on the
question they asked, but also totally confused.

red days- Once upon
a time the Powderfinger website had a bright red background. The
older board regulars refer to this time as the 'red days' as
opposed to 'good old days'
Rochelle- The bitch of the
board
regular- Someone who reads and
posts on the board often

sarcasm- There are
NEVER traces of sarcasm on the board.. Everything that is posted
is true and is never meant to me taken as a joke
shameless plug- Seems everyone
finds the board to be the perfect place to post up shameless
plugs, and why not!?
sexual references- Well
sexual fantasies anyway...
Stubbs & Stumps- The
sisters of pure whit and smut. Loved by many, hated by many more :oP
short- Apparently the majority of
the regulars consider themselves to be quite short.

all very defensive over, but that's only because deep down we know
we all are one.
tool- Something everyone on
the board must be prepared to be called at one time while they are
there
tours- always creates much
discussion. If its an Australian tour you have the million, 'Oh my
god last night was so amazing!', the one hundred, 'I MET
POWDERFINGER!', and the three, 'Oh why did my mum and dad have to
be such tightarses.. I SO badly wanted to go!' posts per day.
But then if it's an OS tour everyone complains that they're not
touring Oz.

yum- An expression
which is used to describe both food and the Powderfella's on the
board

zzz- Sometimes
reading the board can send you to sleep due to extreme boredom.
