On the night of her greatest challenge..
- Interior - Magic Box/Training room - Buffy training - striking fervently at a punching bag with a long pole.
- Interior - Giles (to Sandring)- "We're not ready for this".
- Interior - Mr Sandring - "There's every reason to believe that she can do this."
- Exterior - Park - Night - Buffy sitting by herself on a bench, head down, deep in thought.
- Exterior - Day - Willow turns to look at something..
- Exterior - Day - A figure in a black cape and hood, wearing a mask with a grotesque, comical smile, staring back at her.
- Interior - General's Mansion - Solomon (to Sasha) - "She will be mine"
- Exterior - Night - Tara walking along slowly in a crowded area, looking sad.
- Exterior - Night - Solomon working his way through a crowd, following someone.
- Interior - Christopher's Apartment - Buffy (to Chris) - "This ends tonight".
the slayer will risk everything to stop an army.
- Quick Shot - Interior - Sunnydale Airport - Buffy with a pole, fighting Sasha and Solomon at the same time.
- Quick Shot - Exterior - Night - A collection of tiny red lights, like eyes, shining through the dark night.

- Quick Shot - Interior - Giles holding up a small bottle containing a clear fluid (the poison) and looking at it.
- Quick shot - Interior - Sunnydale Airport- Buffy striking out with a pole, smashing it into Trix, sending her flying and smashing through a shopfront window.
- Quick shot - Interior- Tara kissing a distraught-looking Willow lightly on her lips.
- Quick Shot - Interior - Sunnydale Airport - Buffy (with a pole) fighting a long white-haired female vamp (carrying a sword) on a moving walkway.
