- Interior - Magic Box - Day - Tara breaking off from Willow's embrace and exits off-screen; Willow frowns.
- Interior - Christopher - "You have to accept your destiny Buffy. Become the slayer."
- Exterior - Night - Buffy fighting two vamps.
and as a new enemy arrives to challenge her..
- Exterior - Night - A giant red-skinned bull-like demon (Hathos) leaps powerfully from a carriage of a moving train.
- Exterior - Night - Woods - Harmony - 'There's like this new assassin in town to kill Buffy.'
-Exterior - Night - Woods -Buffy - 'What?'
- Interior - General's mansion - Hathos kneeling before the General on his throne.
- Interior - General's mansion - a hand lifting the face of a terrified young female, elven in appearance and very human-like.
- Exterior - Day - Buffy diving on the ground, then looking up to look at something in shock.
- Exterior - Day - Hathos emits a deafening roar
- Interior - Three vamps cover their ears in pain.
- Exterior - Construction site - Day - Hathos, who towers over Buffy, swings his scythe at Buffy. Buffy somersaults over the scythe to avoid it.
she will face a threat, closer than she thinks.
- Exterior - Night - Christopher looking at something, hiding in shadows.
- Interior - Mr Sandring - "She cannot be salvaged. You know it."
- Interior - Close on : a small open case containing a syringe and four small bottles containing a clear liquid.
- Quick Shot - Interior - Night - A crate exploding out from inside.
- Quick shot - Interior - Close on : a drop of liquid falling into a glass of Scotch.
- Quick shot - Exterior - Night - A hand carrying a knife; approaching Buffy's back.
- Quick shot - Exterior - Construction site - Day - Hathos knocks Buffy away.
