Wolverines House Of Fashion

Ah,yes it is time for another fashion report. This time it is about that comic book character Wolverine. He's had a lot of different looks through the years and his sense of fashion is still changing! Here we see a pic of him from his first appearance in Ircredible Hulk #181.He's looking quite seventies, but that is okay because you have to change with the times.Logan kept this look for the majority of his appearances with some minor improvements.

Here is the Wolvie that most us recognize.Although I love Wolvie I never thought blue and yellow were good colors for him,as he is kind of a dark character.Nonetheless he has worn this outfit more than any other during his tenure in comics.I do like the stripes on it though, complementing his animalistic side.

This was the look for Wolvie I preferred. The colors are much darker suiting his character better.Maybe it would have been better to keep the stripes from the blue and yellow.Nonetheless a good look, for our boy Logan. This is the look he kept through most of the 1980's.

Here we see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine,as seen in the X-Men movies. This outfit is dark, and I think the X-Men costumes from the movies are a little uninspired. Now I know it would be silly to have Hugh Jackman running around in yellow spandex, still I think these could had a little more color instead of just black. The suit Jackman wears in X2 is a little better about this than the suit he bares in the first X-Men movie. You can actually see the little yellow stripes in it.

No doubt through the influence of aforementioned cinema Logan has shed his spandex in the comics. Now he just wears black leather, with no mask, but I think it suits him quite well.I really dig this look for him.

This was just a quick look at many of the few looks Wolverine has had throughout the years.Anyway if you're a fan of Wolverine,as I am,now is a good time for you.The second X-Men movie is out,and also quite a good flick and his solo comic book series has been relaunched. Also there is a nice little DVD out now called X-Men:The Legend of Wolverine which features choice episodes about Logan from the nineties X-Men cartoon with interviews with Stan Lee and Chris Claremont.
