Bruce Dickinsons House of Fashion!

In the pic to the left we see Mr.Dickinson wearing some stylish leather that just screams "Hey I sing in an eighties heavy metal band!".Its a good look,no doubts there, but this man has been known to wear some of the most questionable outfts ever!It is well documented that Steve Harris,the bass guitarist and founder of Iron Maiden rules over his band like a dictator rules over a small country,so Mr.Harris may have made Bruce wear some of this clothing in the early days.However it is documented that Dickinson chose to wear whatever he wanted after the band became insanely successful after 1984.After this Mr.Dickinson continued to dress like a man who well,who has no idea how to dress!I remember reading recent interviews with Bruce where he proclaims that it is "not cool to care about fashion."Well Bruce,if thats what you think,it shows.It dosen't matter if Bruce is singing for Maiden or doing his solo thing,or even just doing something casual,he will still wear odd clothing no matter what the situation!

Here we have a pic of Bruce looking totally ridiculous aside from the goofy smile on his face.Look at those spandex tights!I don't know how Bruce managed to wear this particular pair of spandex so often but I've seen him do it many times in live pictures of Iron Maiden concerts or in their videos,for example you can see him wearing this pair of spandex in the video for "The Trooper.".The tightness,the design,the colors,the bulge that I don't want to see!Only the most courageous man could step into those!I do like the belt with the demon however,very cool.

Here we have Bruce singing live for Maiden in the late eigties and he is again sporting spandex tights!Now you can't be hard on Bruce alone for wearing the spandex tights,for a couple of reasons.First off,this was the eighties and a rock band could not get a record deal without sporting the spandex,secondly everyone else in Iron Maiden wore spandex at the time so it was only the right thing to do.However as far as spandex goes these are pretty cool.You can't tell really good from this pic but I've seen Bruce wear this pair before and they resemble lizard scales and since they are form fitting they actually make it look like Bruce has a lizard-like appearance to his legs!Again he sports the ever cool demon belt,and he has a nice operatic look with the really loose shirt.Lose the colored spandex,get a nice shirt,and keep the demon belt!Nice!

After leaving Iron Maiden for a while Bruce decided to TRY to look normal.Now lets look at the pants he wears in this pic.

Okay,thats all I have to say about that.

Here is what Bruce has been looking like recently.He looks pretty good here.No spandex.Nice denim jacket.Cool shades.This could be such a good picture becuase it is the cover for his "Best Of" CD.Good try Bruce but you won't make the back pages of Maxim magazine anytime soon but that is okay because it is not cool for rock stars to care about fashion and also becuase anyone who wants to look at the fashion section in Maxim as oppossed to the spreads of scantily clad celebrity women needs to be severly beaten.I don't understand that part of Maxim magazine.I don't want to see men dressed well and I don't know any other men who do either.Theres no doubt they are paid off by designers.Additionally no one dresses like those guys anyway.If that magazine dropped that section it would be the perfect magazine.Oh well, if theres one thing that really dosen't interest me its talking about fashion,unless its the fashion sense of Bruce Dickinson!Lets wear some spandex!
